Friday!
I don’t have much to say, it’s raining, and I’m a little tired. So, let’s get into it and make some damn ribs.
Grab yourself a rack of ribs and give it a hearty rub with your choice of BBQ seasoning. You know I love Honey Hog. Let the meat sit out for at least 15 minutes, ideally up to an hour, while you pre-heat your grill to 275(F). Throw the ribs on meat side up, and let them smoke for about 2-3 hours. You can spritz them with apple cider vinegar, apple juice, or pineapple juice every 45 min or so if you’re feeling up to it.
Once the ribs achieve a nice color, take out some tin foil and put a few pats of butter and honey on it. Place the ribs meat side down on the tin foil, wrap them tight, and put them back on the grill for another 2 hours or so. Take them off the grill, let sit for a bit, and dig in.
This recipe seems so simple, but delivers ribs that I’ve heard described as “the best ever.”
There you go. Enjoy the weekend, ya filthy animals!
